Norbert Niederkofler, creator of the Chef’s Cup in the Italian Dolomites is again leading the annual festival from January 22nd to the 28th in Alta Badia.
During the week, chefs with and without Michelin stars, restaurateurs, wine producers and personalities from the world of sport and culture defy each other on the Gran Risa ski slopes of La Villa and as well as in the kitchens of the valley’s restaurants.
Established in 2004 by Norbert Niederkofler (the chef behind the two Michelin-starred St Hubertus restaurant in the Relais & Chateaux Rosa Alpina hotel in San Cassiano, a small village whose ski slopes form part of the Alta Badia) the Chef’s Cup week is packed full of opportunities to taste some incredible food, including that of nearly 100 other invited chefs.
Rosa Alpina (www.rosalpina.it) offers six nights B&B during the “Chef´s Cup 2012” for €1,904 ($2,974 USD) per person based on double occupancy.
