More snowmaking added in the Three Valleys

The Belleville Valley, one of the French Three Valleys, the world’s largest lift-linked ski area, has announced new snowmaking installations being added this summer above the resorts of St Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires at a cost of 850,000 Euros.
New snowmaking will be added on the Bettex piste in Les Menuires and at the same time there will be improvements to the technical performance of the whole of the resort’s snowmaking network with the aim of minimizing environmental impact.
This summer new snowmaking equipment will also be installed on the piste Pelozet, to improve the connections between Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville. The Les Menuires snow factory will be built to the highest environmental standard.
200,000 Euros is also being invested in a programme to improve the ski area, with terracing work and re-profiling on the Enverses, David Douillet, Pelozet pistes as well as the snowpark this summer.
A high performance live cam will be installed on the top of the mountain to allow the browser to check the real time snow conditions and weather. Installed at the top of the Roc des 3 Marches, it offers a 360° panorama over the Vallée des Belleville ski area and the 3 Vallées mountain peaks.
