Summer Ski Jumping World Cup event moved to facilitate Olympics

The spectacular sport of summer ski jumping is coming to the Courchevel as it has been for the past 18th years.

The Olympic ski jumping facility of Le Praz, August 2-3, as many journalists covering the event are expected to leave for the Beijing Olympics.

Around this great sporting event, many highlights have been organised to make these two days a real summer festival. This includes an air festival, a genuine mountain Air Show will include aerobatics, fighter planes, model planes and parachutist drops.

Entrance to the Olympic stadium enclosure is free for everyone.

The summer World Cup jumping circuit is staged on artificial surface ski jumps. It begins on July 27, at Hinterzarten in Germany. After the Courchevel stage the final jump is on Tuesday 5th August at the 2006 Winter Olympics jump hill of Pragelato in Italy.
