Only nine months after opening its doors, the Spa in the Carlton Hotel, the fifth five-star in St Moritz, has qualified as a Leading Spa of the World, specially chosen for its outstanding spa facilities, spa treatments and spa services.
The Leading Spas of the World represent some of the world’s finest luxury spas and their spa evaluation and certification program is designed as a benchmark for global luxury standards. And with only 105 Leading Spa’s in the World, the Carlton is the only hotel in the glamorous town of St Moritz with this accolade.
Created with the greatest attention to detail by interior designer Carlo Rampazzi, the state of the art Carlton Spa is the ultimate indulgent wellness area. Featuring six treatment rooms and one exclusive spa suite, the 1200 square meter spa is spread over three floors and has breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps.
At its centre is a beautiful pool which has both an indoor section and a link out to the year-round heated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the mountain scenery. The spa also offers sauna and steam baths, a caldarium, Finnish sauna and a Ladies only sauna.
After these intense heat experiences, guests can cool down under various hydro-massage showers, at an ice fountain, or with a stroll on the wooden decking of the outdoor area – deliciously covered in snow in winter. The Carlton Spa offers a variety of personalised treatments, including new Ayurvedic treatments by Indian specialist Umesh Tejasvi and Comfort Zone body treatments and facials designed exclusively for men.
