Tour operator offers new ski products

Erna Low is offering complete novices who have never been near a pair of skis the chance to take part in the company’s Fresher’s Ski Week, an initiative to create new winter sports enthusiasts.
Erna Low has been generously supported by the resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs, their local tourist offices, the ESF in Arc 1800 and Belle Plagne, and Skiset, the leading equipment provider in the Alps in providing first timers free ski passes, lessons and equipment rental on two weeks in mid-January 2009.

Erna Low is part of the global Fresher’s Ski Week initiative which will run in January 2009 over six countries and more than 45 ski resorts.

Valid for the weeks beginning 17th and 24th January only, participants must book their holiday accommodation and travel through Erna Low to benefit from free beginners ski lessons (half days in Arc 1800 or full days in Belle Plagne); a free local ski pass and free beginners equipment hire for a week.

Places are strictly limited to 10 persons per resort regardless of the week so early booking is strongly recommended.

The Fresher’s Ski week is not applicable to skiers who simply wish to try snowboarding, or vice versa, as it will not be possible to transfer out of the beginners lessons and non attendance of ski school will lead to ski pass cancellation.
