A cold day at Tremblant

So we decided to go up to Mont Tremblant for yet another ski day yesterday and we thought the weather would give us a break…boy was it cold. The wind was howling everywhere…the conditions were ”World Cup Conditions” – meaning hard pack and icy and generally there were not too many people around. The longest we had to wait was about five minutes…perhaps it was the cold that kept people away or maybe it was the end of the Christmas break or a part of both…

We were lucky enough to spot Erik Guay, one of Canada’s elite skiers whiz by us while on training for three days…unfortunately we weren’t quick enough to get him on camera. So I’m sure he was in paradise with the conditions.

If you could withstand the wind, then everything was fine. The runs of the day for us were McCullogh and Kandahar…
