Some of the world’s best mountain bikers who specialise in racing on snow were in Andorra’s Vallnord last week to participate in the second Four Cross Snow-BTT. Vallnord is the new name for the Ordino-Arcalís region of Andorra.
The Four Cross Snow-BTT is a category of mountain biking that combines the characteristics of a descent with the difficulties of staying on the ground, in this case on the Andorran snow.
The two day event brought together the best national and international riders on snow. The format of this year’s show consisted of a morning event for individual timed descents, which were used to rank competitors, with the top 16 moving on to the Four Cross final.
