An outdoor golf and indoor ski challenge will be staged in May and June in the UK combining indoor snow races with outdoor golf tournaments, either on the same day.
The challenge is aimed at good level skiers/ boarders who enjoy the challenge of both golf and winter sports.
The first indoor event is due to take place in the ChillFactore snow centre near Manchester and the Antrobus golf club on 13th May and then the newly opened Hemel Hempsted Snow Centre and Chesfield downs golf Club on the 10th June.
Competitors will play 18 holes of golf during the day and at 6pm the Competition will switch to the snow with an easy two run slalom.

I feel that we don’t do enough for the good skier that may go two or three times a year and has no aspiration to take up park and pipe riding. This competition will attract skiers and boarders across many age groups,”

Said Mr Mercer.

There will be prizes for Male Skier/Snowboarder and Female Skier/Snowboarder.“I have a large list of sponsors so many prizes will be given away.” Mr Mercer added.
