My thanks to SkiRebel for posting this article. It is particularly to your credit that a publication that honors the accomplishments of youth will take space to also recognize the lifelong contributions of age. Nic Fiore was always a Ski Rebel, challenging himself and the skiers with whom he worked to strive to be the best. As Cynthia noted above, Nic had the special gift of instantly becoming the best friend of everyone he met. He had an exhuberance for life that embodied why we all love skiing and the mountains so much. Great stories are also found on Facebook at the "I am a Friend of Nic Fiore" group. Worth visiting for a laugh, a smile and a tear.

Thank you for posting the lovely article on Nic Fiore. My husband and I had the priviledge of working with Nic for many years in Yosemite at Badger Pass. He was such a huge part of Yosemite and had such an influence over everyone he met - and he remembered Everybody's name! People were so important to him and passing on the joy of skiing was such a part of who he was. Thank you again. Mr. & Mrs. Chris & Cynthia Boyd
