How do you say ‘mush!’ in Dutch?

It was believed to be the first dogsled event ever to take place in Holland, and it took place in June.
Sixteen teams from several countries took part in a husky race last month at Holland’s SnowWorld winter sports resort. Before hundreds of fans, the sleds flew down a 500m course built outside the centre with snow made inside.

Local dogsledder known as ‘Mr. Carel’ was the champion, completing the course in 67 seconds.
SnowWorld’s groomers worked all night to construct a course which could survive the summer weather long enough to complete the event.
The resort itself already hosts World Cup opening snowboard events. After the success of last month’s dogsled race, SnowWorld announced plans to investigate the possibility of holding a dogsled world cup in the future.

    Hi,
what I understand is that ”mush” means to travel on snow with a dogsledge…? Correct? You will be not surprised that we don’t have a specific word in Dutch. I would say: sleeën, what means travel on snow with a slegde.

    Best regards,
    Peter Daalder (Netherlands)
