Kaprun have announced plans to run freestyle camps for children, teens and novices over a three week period starting on October 17th and ending November 7th on the resort’s Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
The camps will offer expert tuition in the 180° or 360° turn as well as the disciplines of the switch, ridding in deep powder, big air, jumps, grabs, grinds and slides at the boxes and rails
“The camps are for skiers and snowboarder who want to stretch their limits, but although challenging, it will not be too challenging! Safety and fun first!” said a resort statement.
Participants will need twin tip skis or a freestyle snowboard as well as a helmet. The resort also suggests a back protector is advisable. The equipment can be rented if required.
