
Thousands gather at the top of Austria's Ischgl resort at the beginning and end of every ski season for a world-class concert.
Ischgl ski resort has announced that it’s season opening mountaintop concert will feature chart-topping singer Katy Perry.
Famous for its high profile concerts performed at the beginning and end of the season, the Austrian resort’s legendary Top of the Mountain Concert will be on Saturday, November 28th. Kylie Minogue, Scissor Sisters, Pink, Elton John, Lionel Richie, The Sugababes and Bon Jovi have all performed in the past.
Entrance to the concert, which kicks off at 6pm, will be by valid lift-pass. A one-day lift ticket on the 28th will set you back €55 (£49), and a two-day lift ticket will cost €86 (£76). Skiing opens on the 27th.
Ischgl is one of Austria’s highest ski areas and has some of it’s most reliable snow cover.
