Artificial slopes are used for multiple sports and and are being used in multiple environments and locations.
A local ski school in Budapest has opened an artificial ski slope, the the first of ten planned in Hungary over the next five years.
The installation of the 70m (230ft) slope, ordered by the local Pasarét ski school, allows local skiers and boarders to practice their sport for 365 days a year.
The 700 square metre Neveplast-made slope is only the first step. The aim of the Pasarét ski school is to enlarge the facility year by year and add an urban park, a Tubby slope for year-round snow tubing, and a second ski slope for beginners.
The Pasarét slope is a member of the 4 Seasons Group, the project driving the construction of ten Neveplast artificial ski slopes throughout the country over the next five years. The project wants to focus itself mainly in urban areas, promoting activities whose primary aim is to advertise the Alpine disciplines and to stimulate their practice. 4 Seasons is targeting youth, but will open facilities for all age groups keen to ski or board any time.
The project has partnered with artificial slope manufacturer Neveplast for all it’s facilities.
