A new Doppelmayr drag lift has been installed at SnowWorld Landgraaf, the world’s largest indoor snow centre located in Landgraaf, Netherlands.
The capacity of the new lift, which opened last week, is 900 persons per hour. It will increase uplift speed as well as capacity, meaning guests can reach the top of the slopes more quickly. The drag lift will replace the Poma lift on the longest slope in Landgraaf, which is also served by an indoor six-seat chairlift.
SnowWorld Landgraaf opened in 2001 with a total of 35,000 m² of snow. In 2003, the first indoor snowboard FIS WorldCup contest was held in the indoor snow centre.
