Tubing will set you back $20 per person for 1/2 hour

Beaver Creek ski resort in Colorado recently opened a new tubing hill for visitors to enjoy.

The Haymaker Tubing Hill features four lanes of sledding action down a 400-foot long groomed track. To reach the tubing hill, guests ride the Buckaroo Express Gondola and the arena is served by the Haymeadow Carpet, a new covered surface lift that also supports the Beaver Creek Ski School’s dedicated learning area.

Tubing is now offered daily from 2pm until dusk and hours will extend over the course of the season as days get longer through April. The activity is open to all ages and the height requirement for children is 36 inches minimum. Tubing is available for all participants for $20 per half hour.

“Beaver Creek is pleased to debut a new tubing hill for our guests,” said Caragh McLaughlin, director of marketing for Beaver Creek Resort. “Tubing is a great family activity and it’s the perfect complement to our other family-friendly programs.”

Starting at 2 p.m. the deck at The Ranch will offer outdoor dining featuring pizza, salad and a selection of beverages such as beer, wine, soda, hot cocoa and coffee. At the end of the ski day the downstairs dining room at The Ranch will open to the public for meals and drinks with a few date exceptions.
