One of the world’s original ski websites, Ifyouski.com, has a brand new look after dishing £100,000 into website upgrades.
Now over 10 years old, and one of the UK’s leading snow-sport websites, ifyouski can trace its roots back to the paper publishing era and the 1993 book, ‘The Complete Skier.’ It was written by ex-British Freestyle team member and Harvard MBA Michael Liebreich who went on to set up completeskier.com, later renamed ifyouski.com.
The site has some 60,000 newsletter subscribers and 300,000 unique monthly visitors through the winter months.
Users can now browse through over a thousand chalets and hotels from 30+ independent UK tour operators, with tens of thousands of unique deals searchable on one website and bookable through a knowledgeable team of skiers and boarders, as well as over a thousand self-catered chalets and apartments, all online bookable
There also unique resort information on over 500 resorts around the world, and ski lifestyle features. The site runs competitions and promotions, including currently an all new ‘Snowball Shootout’ where users can win a £400 snowboard.
There are also webcams, snow reports and a unique Alpine Weather Forecast.
The redevelopment of ifyouski.com will continue throughout the summer, with new features including online booking for chalet and hotel packages launching in time for Autumn 2010.
