Brit ski kids get shiny new gear

The kids will be skiing safely and in style.

There’s going to be a new look for the British Children’s Ski Team after new deals struck with equipment companies.

Helmet and goggle manufacturer CASCO is now their official supplier for headgear. The team will be supplied with SP Race helmets and goggles fitted with the new Vautron lens.

The first group took delivery of the new kit at the Team’s final UK training and fitness session at The Snow Centre, Hemel Hempsted.

The British Children’s Ski Team Head Coach Gareth Trayner was pleased with the news.

“The team is really looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with CASCO and we thank them for their support,” said Trayner. “All the athletes are looking forward to sporting their new helmets and gearing up to go super fast this season.”

CASCO ski helmets and goggles are the cutting edge of design and technology. The Edelholz style has a wood laminate finish which is probably the strongest material used in helmet manufacture today. The Vautron lenses come from the technology used in Apache helicopter window screens. It is shatterproof, optically corrected and photocromic.
