The days of having to buy memberships to get into Utah bars are over.
Contrary to general belief Utah has never been a dry State, but it’s sure had its share of restrictions. This winter, though, a new law came into effect changing Park City’s and indeed the State’s bar scene.
In the past purchasing a temporary membership was required to get into a bar or club, but bars, pubs and clubs now have an open door policy to welcome all comers over 21.
This is good news for Park City which has opening the state’s first distillery, since Prohibition, this season. The High West Distillery is the only ski-in, ski-out distillery in the world offering the finest in whiskey and vodka.
The High West Distillery is located in a renovated 100 year old livery stable near the base of Town Lift on Park Avenue in Old Town Park City, so is perfectly located for lunch or après ski. It’s one of over 100 restaurants and bars in Park City.
