The Ski Trac is being promoted as an answer to the problem of climate change for ski areas by the Australian designers of the system.
“With the winter snow on some ski slopes already diminishing due to the increasing temperatures of global warming, the Ski Trac will emerge as a solution, with year-round skiing on what will be the world’s longest ski run.” said a company spokesman.
“Unlike existing indoor slopes, the slope of the Ski Trac with its huge rotating snowfield is not limited to the size of the building housing it. Accordingly it will become the standard method of indoor snow skiing, with facilities proliferating around the world. Ten locations world-wide are currently under negotiations, with many more expected to emerge as soon as construction commences on the Seoul or Huai-an Ski Tracs.” The spokesman concluded.
