Silver Star resort in British Columbia got a sudden blast of winter last Monday when an unseasonal snowstorm hit the area.

The snow cover on June 25th, a few days ahead of Canada’s national day and exactly six months from/before Christmas was seen as a good omen by resort staff.

Enterprising skiers quickly looked out their cross country gear for a quick ski and photo opportunity.
