New website offers ski deals for US Resorts

Liftopia.com, the online resource for skiers and riders to purchase discount lift tickets, has announced that this season it will offer discount single day ski passes to more than 80 ski resorts exclusively on the Liftopia.com web site.
The tickets will be available all season long at varied rates. Prices and availability of tickets can change at any time (much like airline tickets and hotel rooms). During the 2007-2008 ski season, the average discount for a lift ticket purchased on Liftopia.com was 33 percent, and they are already are seeing savings up to 70 percent off tickets this season.

Livigno offers Free lift tickets with hotel stay

Livigno has a special offer this winter – a free ski pass for those who book direct with participating hotels (for a minimum 4 nights) or apartments (minimum 7 nights), will get their lift pass paid by their host.
The offer is valid for the season with a Christmas Holiday blackout.
In addition children aged up to seven years old ski for free all season, thanks to the resort’s “Baby Free” offer. Children born after 1st January 2001 qualify for the free lift pass, valid on the whole ski area, with the purchase of the same tickets by the adults who accompany them.
In addition a family of four (2 parents and 2 children), with the children born between 1995 and 2000, are entitled to a free ticket, if they buy 3 lift passes (minimum 6 days) at full price. This offer is valid for the whole winter season, except the peak holiday period between from 24th December 2008 to 6th January 2009.
Finally, Livigno also has a “Saturday special” when a Saturday pass will cost only 28 Euro on Saturdays, from 10th January to 28th March 2009.
Livigno is one of the largest and highest ski areas in the region, actually based on three original villages spread out along three miles of road. Excellent intermediate skiing, and very close to St Moritz, also famous for being duty free, due to its historical remoteness. There are over 200 shops, mostly selling alcohol, cigarettes and perfume.

666.78% more visitors come to SkiRebel Magazine in March

With the end of March, SportsRebel Media Ventures (SMV) Ltd. is happy to announce that it broke an all time record for monthly unique visitors with a whopping 666.78 % to SkiRebel Magazine in March 2008 to the same period a year earlier. This staggering growth was led with incredible traffic increases of more than 2000 % on March 28th alone.

SkiRebel Magazine Celebrates 1st Year…

Since the relaunch of the popular skirebel.com portal in February 2007, SkiRebel Magazine has managed to attract more than 22,658 unique visitors with some 67,000 page impressions.

Since migrating the PDF only online ski magazine to a more user friendly online format, magazine management is ecstatic with the initial results. So far 2008, SportsRebel Media Ventures (SMV) Ltd., the main shareholder of the online property is forecasting tripling online visits. So far the first week forecast is blowing that forecast out of the water.

A Flurry of visitors come to SkiRebel Magazine

Since the launch of the popular skirebel.com portal in February, SkiRebel Magazine has managed to increase traffic by 48% over the past five months. What started off as a pretty normal month in terms of visits and page views, quickly emerged into the busiest month with some days experiencing traffic increases by more than 80%.

‘We are really pleased to see these beneficial results so early on and specially during an off-peak season. This is really looking good for the upcoming 2007-2008 ski season when we will be releasing a number of new site features,’ said SkiRebel Magazine editor, Mike Styles.
