This staggering growth was led with incredible traffic increases of more than 2000 % on March 28th alone.

Since the relaunch of the popular skirebel.com portal in February 2007, SkiRebel Magazine has managed to attract more than 22,658 unique visitors with some 67,000 page impressions.

Since migrating the PDF only online ski magazine to a more user friendly online format, magazine management is ecstatic with the initial results. So far 2008, SportsRebel Media Ventures (SMV) Ltd., the main shareholder of the online property is forecasting tripling online visits. So far the first week forecast is blowing that forecast out of the water.

Ronning and Majdic ski to wins in cross country World Cup sprint races

According to the International Herald Tribune, Eldar Ronning led a Norwegian sweep in the men’s sprint and Petra Majdic of Slovenia won the women’s event at a cross-country World Cup ski meet Sunday.

Ronning passed John Kristian Dahl with a few yards to go and edged his teammate by 0.10 seconds in the men’s 1.4-kilometer classic style final. It was Ronning’s first win of the season. Ola Vigen Hattestad was third, 0.5 behind.
