Christian Flühr, a student at the University of Aachen, and current holder of the outdoor record for non-stop skiing, clocking up 264 hours non stop at Obergurgl, Austria in January 2008, has set the first indoor ski record with 103 hours non-stop skiing at Snowworld Landgraaf in Holland. SnowWorld Landgraaf in the Netherlands has opened its’ fifth slope. This new slope is perfect for beginners but has enough of a gradient to get moving.
A new restaurant has also opened, underneath the Sporthotel SnowWorld Landgraaf which will open next month, offering diners a perfect view on the new slope. The à la carte restaurant ‘De Witte Wereld’ serves three, four, or five course dinners daily and has a changing ‘Menu of the day’.

Since the relaunch of the popular skirebel.com portal in February 2007, SkiRebel Magazine has managed to attract more than 22,658 unique visitors with some 67,000 page impressions.
Since migrating the PDF only online ski magazine to a more user friendly online format, magazine management is ecstatic with the initial results. So far 2008, SportsRebel Media Ventures (SMV) Ltd., the main shareholder of the online property is forecasting tripling online visits. So far the first week forecast is blowing that forecast out of the water.
