The minimum wage for Chinese workers employed by companies contracted to make ski suits for Western companies has been increased in several Chinese provinces including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai.

Plans To Downsize Scotland’s Main Ski Area Receive Mixed Response

Plans to reduce the size of Scotland’s main ski area at Cairngorm above Aviemore have received a mixed response. The proposal from the probable new owners of the Estate which includes the Cairngorm ski area, The Forestry Commission, include the closure of two chairlifts, the key reason given being “environmental concerns.” Cairngorm Mountain Limited which runs the ski lifts themselves is reported to be in favour of the move, saying that thanks to global warming the lifts are now rarely used anyway.

Rail Frenzy At Whistler Blackcomb Terrain Parks

With over $60,000 in upgrade capital Stu Osborne, Terrain Park Supervisor and park rangers Fred, Eric and Anto have been welding and grinding their way through a huge pile of wood and metal to make one the most creative rail collections ever.
