High Five Charity in Verbier: Stars to Help Children

Celebrities from show-business and sport scene come in to Verbier and support the “Right to Play” charity. Marthe Keller, Bertrand Piccard, Stéphane Lambiel, Didier Cuche, Steve Ravussin or Miss Switzerland 2007 Amanda Ammann to name a few of them, have spontaneously confirmed their participation.

High Five Charity Night in Verbier

The evening of Friday, April 4th 2008, before the famous day of the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg, an important gala evening will be hold to support the Organization “Right to Play“. Many stars of various domains have already confirmed their presence. Among others, the actress Marthe Keller, the pioneer Bertrand Piccard, double ice skating World champion Stéphane Lambiel or the skipper Stève Ravussin. Moreover the champions of the white circus, who will take part the following day in the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg, will give a special note to this party. Lindsey Vonn, the winner of the overall World Cup of the past season, Didier Cuche, winner of the downhill World Cup, Aksel Lund Svindal who, after his heavy fall, will go back to competition for the first time, as well as 10 other athletes of winter sports of worldwide reappointing. Many firms and celebrities have spontaneously given a price for the tombola. The benefits of this charitable party will be completely given to the Association “Right to Play“.

  • Right to play is an international humanitarian organization supported by athletes whose aim is to ameliorate in a lasting way, by sports and game, the quality of life of the children and the teenagers in the underprivileged regions. Right to play contributes in that way to a more peaceful and surer world. 400’000 children and teenagers were touched in 2007, thanks to 60 plans in 23 countries in Africa, Asia and in Middle East.
