Madonna Di Campiglio and Pinzolo officially ‘connected’

A new lift joins Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo bringing 150 kilometres of new ski terrain.

The long awaited lift connection that officially links Italy’s Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo is finally ready to be opened bringing along with it a new 150 kilometre ski area.
The project which began two years ago will officially open in December bringing a new Tulot gondola lift in Pinzolo and two extra new runs.

Rail packages are making the French Alps again.

Mountain Heaven (www.mountainheaven.co.uk) working in conjunction with snowcarbon have  launched all inclusive deals to go skiing by train from the UK from £349 per person to Les Sept Laux  including rail from London to Grenoble, a great on piste chalet apartment and the lift pass for all Saturday dates in January. Alternatively La Plagne is only £449 per person for the same deal with the train to Aime La Plagne, accommodation and the lift pass.
