17th quad goes up in Vail

Vail, which already operates more quad chairlifts than any other resort on the planet, is going ahead with plans to replace the High Noon Lift (Chair 5) with a new quad.

The new lift will serve Sun Up Bowl and Sun Down Bowl and cut ride time in half from 12 minutes to six and has an uphill capacity of 2,400 people per hour. Continue reading ‘Vail adds 17th Quad with lift modernization’
