The recently opened artificial slope at Liberty University in Virginia is going to be very busy this weekend.
Close to 3,000 people are expected to attend the first Snowflex DEW Games this Saturday at Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre in Lynchburg, Virginia. The artificial slope opened last summer.
The Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre is expecting 200 – 300 competitors. $5,000 US in total cash prizes is up for grabs, including $750 to both skiers and snowboarders in big air/rail jam, $325 for 2nd place, and $175 for 3rd place.
Hot Shot professionals from all over the east coast will be competing and many riders who have competed in the on-snow US resort Dew Tour will also be there, as will judges from the Dew Tour and USASA events who’ll be deciding the winners.
